News!
I am now working on a new release of SystemGuard v3.0.
It will be released in June - August. More information will be avaliable soon.

Overview
SystemGuard is a program that monitors unix servers and reports any problem
it detects by mail. The system administrator set up criterias for when
SystemGuard will send warnings for the objects mentioned below.
Each object below is included in the package for SystemGuard v2.0.

The programm is a shareware and has a free evaluation period for 20 days.

The following is monitored
  - Filesystem space
  - Free memory
  - Databases
  - Specified daemons
  - The syslog log
  - The system load
  - The su-log

The set up for each server that SystemGuard resides on, is done by
configuration files on the server where SystemGuard is installed.
